MSC Cruises – a great cruise vacation
A good experience, with room for improvement.
Overall, our MSC Cruises vacation was great. We enjoyed the trip and the destinations and had a really good experience.
What stood out most to us were the long queues when boarding and leaving the ship. In particular, when embarking in New York, we had to wait four hours before we could board. This led to unnecessarily long waits and made the trip less relaxing.
We also found the ship a little busier and livelier than other cruise ships. Although everything was well organised, the crowds took away somewhat from the relaxing holiday feeling for us.
Our verdict: MSC Cruises offers a great cruise experience, but if we had to choose, we’d prefer other cruise lines where we enjoyed the atmosphere and overall experience a little more (and had fewer fellow passengers).
